Man of Words and Action

Mayor Rolen C. Paulino stands tall as a champion of words into action. The young man who was seated in the 1997 Local Election as a City Councilor and in was raised 2013 as Mayor of this city. He continues to prove that there is no limit to what a dedicated public servant can achieve.

Armed with his experiences in business, sports discipline, a background on political arena as an Executive Assistant to a former mayor and strength of a father, Mayor Rolen excelled in his first stint on the mayoralty race in 2007 was not a success but because public service runs through his veins, he returned into the political track and gained the vice mayor position in 2010 and the opportunity of serving his people became more fulfilling when he became the mayor of this city in the recent elections.

In his years of public service, he has pushed for the passage of several measures benefitting the city’s organized public safety and peace and order. Spearheading the passing of the famous color coding scheme of the transport sector and the management of organized transport association had brought colors to his political career and definitely captured the heart of his constituents.

Most recently, Mayor Rolen has put his promise into action by working out the rivers and canals dredged and distilled. His administration also took the challenged of the implementation of improvements in the public hospitals and health centers which started out with its physical enhancements, acquisition of new medical equipments and hospital beddings, improvements on ventilation by installing new industrial fans and distribution of Philhealth cards to deserving indigents.

His growing list of accomplishments includes:

  1. Quick response and assistance during calamities;
  2. Strict implementation of existing city ordinances regarding public safety, peace and order and traffic management;
  3. Full support on government projects for Senior Citizens, PWDs, DepEd, and DOH activities;
  4. Constantly in communication with different Public and Private Entities especially those has expressed intentions of donating in this city.
  5. Rehabilitation of existing government facilities, city streets and main roads;
  6. Regular livelihood training and seminars

A very supportive father and husband, sports enthusiast, entrepreneur, and public servant, MRP is driven by the same passion that has made him among the country’s most accomplished leaders. Thus making his mark as the Mayor of Words and Action.
